Teachers Village Atlanta

The success of the Newark Teachers Village project and a nationwide appetite for innovative workforce housing solutions, especially for teachers, has already generated a significant organic pipeline for the successful roll-out of RBH’s Teachers Village projects across the country. Municipalities, redevelopment agencies and landowners/developers around the country have presented opportunities to RBH to build Teachers Village projects in their communities.

The property will include workforce housing that is marketed to teachers who live and work in the Atlanta area. RBH’s Teachers Village communities are a model for shared, intergenerational living where residents share social responsibility and live purposeful lives in supporting each other and helping their cities thrive.
Teachers Village Atlanta is located in an active mixed-use downtown neighborhood with a mixture of residential and office uses and is situated in the heart of the Fairlie-Poplar neighborhood of downtown. It is conveniently located near mass transit, within walking distance of the Five Points MARTA station, and adjacent to the Luckie streetcar station on the Downtown Loop. Given the expansion of the subway system and the growing attractiveness of downtown residential living in Atlanta, the multi-block area is currently being redeveloped by several developers. The area is immediately northwest of Georgia State University, just a few blocks south of Peachtree Center and Centennial Olympic Park. The development site is bounded by Walton, Poplar, and Cone Streets and Ted Turner Drive.
